Jade Electric was founded in 2025 on the east side of Bakersfield, California. With over 13 years of experience as a gigging musician, I’ve spent years chasing the perfect tone.

That pursuit led me to begin modifying amplifiers and guitar pedals, refining my sound to match what I wanted to hear on stage. My first build was inspired by a well-known German-made green overdrive, long considered a “secret weapon” among Nashville guitarists. I named my version The Bakersfield Sound as a tribute to the players and tones that shaped my style.

From the beginning, I knew I didn’t want to be defined as a clone pedal builder. My goal was to create something original.

That vision led to the development of the J-6.

Designed with working musicians in mind, the J-6 is a versatile, responsive, and natural-sounding overdrive. It’s built to feel like an extension of your amp, delivering clarity, touch sensitivity, and the kind of tone that inspires you to play.
